Society supports student training

The Society and its Members have recently been involved in training sessions which are a collaboration between Scottish universities and NHS Tayside.  The training sessions were based around students from different vocations learning how each delivered effective care and communicated with those with complex needs including a visual impairment.

The students from Abertay University met with several of our Members and they described the difficulties they have encountered and also shared stories of good practice.

It is hoped that the Society will work with Abertay University again to assist them with their research and training.
