Funding for the Society comes partly from Dundee City Council for the provision of statutory services and partly from charitable sources, legacies and donations.

Donations are taken Securely and Safely online through Pay Pal

Needless to say this is a charity and we rely on donations for a large part of our work. We are always grateful for any donations. as we have to pay for building upkeep, light and heat as well as the cost of staff, running the clubs and transport. One helpful way to give to the Society is by standing order. Such a monthly commitment can be as small or as large as you like, but it helps us to budget when we know what we're getting. We're including a standing order form just in case any of you are interested.

If you do give us a donation and you pay income tax, than you can complete a Giftaid form and this allows us to reclaim the tax, giving another 24p for every pound donated - well worth having instead of it going to the taxman. We have included this form.

You can also donate to us online using the donation button above. If you are a UK Taxpayer please complete the Gift Aid Form and return to us so we can reclaim the tax. This means that for every £10 donation we can reclaim £2.50.

Legacies

Talking about money, we heard of one family of a client who has sadly died who believed they were giving us some money from the estate but had actually passed it on to RNIB. Can I point out that we are entirely separate from RNIB - we are a small independent local charity. If you are kind enough to mention us in your will then remember we are Dundee Blind and Partially Sighted Society. Thank you.
